Linocut Workshop Voucher

Join me in my art studio for an introduction to linocut workshop. This Linocut Workshop Voucher is the perfect gift for a creative loved one or for yourself!

This 2.5 hour linocut lesson is perfect for beginners with no previous experience. It’s a private 1:1 session, but you can also book small groups up to 3, so you’ll have my undivided attention.

You can choose from 2 workshop options. Linocut lesson or linocut lesson + print your own t-shirt!

In this workshop, we will learn the fundamentals of linocut by creating your own lino block and print your design using linseed oil based inks.

This introduction session will consist of:

- Drawing and carving your own lino block
- Test printing your design
- Learning how to use linseed oil based inks
- Using a hydraulic printing press
- Making a small edition of 3 paper prints on Fabrianno cotton printmaking paper.
- Learning how to sustainably clean your equipment using sunflower oil

If you were to choose the T-shirt printing option, you will also be taught how to print on textiles using your own carved lino block and linseed oil based inks. Only 1 T-shirt per person.

All materials are included as well as tea and coffee!

How does this work?

When you purchase a workshop voucher for yourself, or if you have received a workshop voucher as a gift, simply email me at [email protected] to arrange a date that best suits you. Workshops can be delivered on weekdays or weekends from 10am-6pm.

Location: York House, First floor, NR1 3PY Norwich Norfolk (opposite the Bell Hotel)

Expiration: 6 months from purchase date.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, my studio is on a first floor with no lift. Therefore there is no wheelchair access.

**Please note: Linseed oil based inks can take up to 7 days to fully dry, therefore you won't be able to take home with you your edition prints or T-shirts. I will contact you personally when these are fully dried, to arrange collection or postage if needed. You will however be able to take home your test prints, as these will be printed using water based inks that dry instantly.**
