Candlelight T-shirt

The Candlelight Dinner T-shirt and print is inspired by my love of dinner parties and what we call in Spain “sobremesa”. Which consists of spending time together at the dinner table after finishing your meal, catching up, laughing and telling stories. La sobremesa will usually last a long time, sometimes even hours and it’s, in my opinion, a great way to savour your meal and the good company, while finishing your drinks and chatting. I wanted to convey the welcoming feeling of “sobremesa” through this print while also taking inspiration from warm candlelight tones🕯️

I’m very pleased with how these turned out, they are handprinted using linocut on to a 100% cotton T-shirt in a warm buttery yellow tone. The design is placed across the centre of the chest, printed with linseed oil based inks in an ochre yellow tone.

Care instructions:

Wash inside out at 30ºC max.
Air dry only. Do not tumble dry.
Iron inside out
